Gili Gede is the largest island in a small chain known as the “Secret Gilis” (including Gili Asahan, Gili Layar, and Gili Nangu).Unlike the busy Gili Islands near Bali (Trawangan, Meno, Air), this area is known for being much quieter, more laid-back, and less developed.
